Stockholm Fringe Festival (Stoff) are now looking for proposals from artists whose work challenges and questions conventional artistic forms to perform in Stockholm 7 – 10 October 2015. Stoff is a festival that aims to support and promote cutting edge theatre and performance making. The festival is foremost focused on promoting artists who have not yet found their feet in the industry however we also welcome submissions from established groups/individuals who promote innovation in their artistic work.
How to be part of Stockholm Fringe Fest 2015
Stoff are welcoming applications from both groups and individuals whose work concerns and explores the possibilities of theatre, performance and installation making. We are also welcoming street, site specific performers and young people (15 – 25yr) to this year’s festival. To be considered for Stockholm Fringe Festival 2015 all applicants need to complete an online application form along with submitting linked visual proof/s of their work. Application deadline is 11 January 2015

AIVA 2014 INTERNATIONAL VIDEO ART FESTIVAL,OPEN CALL

deadline: 1 March 2014 (receiving date) 

Video artists from all over the world are invited to submit their works for the second edition of International Video Art Festival AIVA that will be held 28 – 31 May 2014 in Finspång, Sweden. The first edition of the AIVA festival in 2012 received 619 submissions which is a lot of works.The main curator of the forum is Anders Weberg.

AIVA 2014 Finspång
Finspång is a small industrial town in the beautiful and rugged countryside in the mining region of Bergslagen. It was early on the scene in Sweden´s industrial history and in the mid-sixteenth century the first ironworks was founded on the river Finspångsån.
Finspång is also home to world-class art. The Reijmyre glassworks started making mouth-blown glass in 1810, making it the second-oldest glassworks in Sweden still in operation.

The second edition of the AIVA Video Art Festival will run for three days, from May 28th – 31th.
The main purpose of the festival is the free presentation, promotion and development of international video art and to create a new, alternative, peripheral meeting point for emerging and established video and media artists from all over the world.
Selection is open for 2 single channel works maximum per artist and category.
Max duration 10 minutes for the open call works.
Submitted works will not be returned, but stored in the AIVA archive.
If there is dialogue in the video(s) and its not in English it must be subtitled.
There is no entry fee and AIVA cannot offer any payment for screened works.
